Best Proposal I Have Ever Witnessed

 It was my greatest honor to photograph my sons proposal to the love of his life.  

Jake brought Camilla to Nerstand State Park on May 19, 2015.

He had her put on a blindfold for their date,

and she followed Jake down a long path to a waterfall.

I couldn't help but think how fitting it was, for her to trust him to lead her, 

as they walked along ... a perfect way to start their engagement into marriage.

Fun to see, she had no idea we were there capturing their walk to the waterfall.

 

 

When Jake got down on one knee and proposed,

he also signed in American Sign Language,

Will you marry me?

It was sweeter than honey to witness.   

Camilla is majoring is ASL/Interpreting,

so his including this was beyond the moon romantic. 

   

 

 

   

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

Its official!   She said YES!   

 

This momma heart is bursting to have a new daughter in law!

Jakes sister was not going to miss this moment!  She did a great job videoing!

Jakes sister snuck away and wrote on his car to commemoriate the occasion.  Too fun!
